Rutland Patterson

Rutland Patterson brings a versatile blend of real estate investment, business development, and operational problem-solving experience to Tri-Oak Consulting Group. Known for building genuine connections while driving measurable improvements, Rutland has closed over $150 million in commercial real estate transactions, focusing on net lease investment properties across retail, industrial, and healthcare sectors. He prides himself on being hyper-responsive, operating with an owner’s perspective, and putting relationships first in every client engagement.

Prior to joining Tri-Oak, Rutland served as a Process Improvement Manager and Engineer at BLOX in Birmingham, AL, where he managed multi-million-dollar prefab and modular healthcare projects for clients including Encompass Healthcare, Walmart, and HCA Healthcare. He holds an MBA with a concentration in Real Estate and Finance from The University of Alabama, alongside a B.S. and B.A. in Mathematical Statistics and Spanish.

Now in his fourth year in the industry, Rutland pairs his analytical foundation with a practical, collaborative style to help clients identify hidden opportunities, streamline execution, and sustain growth. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling—having explored four continents, including Antarctica—and is active in his church’s international missions program, with trips to Kyrgyzstan, Haiti, and South America. Rutland also enjoys playing pickleball, spending time outdoors, and values quality time with his wife and their Siberian Husky at their home in Atlanta, GA.
